Case: Bartiméus Staff scheduling at Bartiméus

Bartiméus supports visually impaired and blind children, young people, adults and elderly people to enable them to live, study and work as independently as possible. In 2003 Bartiméus decided to implement changes across the entire organization, starting within the care sector. Organizational and business processes were restructured. These changes were necessary on account of the increasingly far-reaching professionalization and the problems in the scheduling process at the time. Bartiméus chose support for this process of change in the form of ORTEC’s Harmony roster scheduling system.

Case: Carante Groep Staff scheduling at Carante Groep
Carante Groep is a special case, as the nine healthcare institutions it comprises have unanimously chosen ORTEC’s staff scheduling application, ORTEC Harmony. 500 planners will soon begin using ORTEC Harmony at over 1,000 locations to schedule Carante Groep’s 12,500 staff.

As Carante Groep Head of IT Jerry van Rekom explained: “We needed a user-friendly system with extensive reporting functionality that can be configured and managed flexibly and also connected to our payroll processing system, Beaufort.”
