ORTEC LEO Warehouse Control and Picking supports optimal warehouse processes within SAP ERP.
The key features of ORTEC LEO Warehouse Control and Picking are:
- Perform the order picking (“pull principle”) based on SAP shipments or SAP deliveries optionally based on the pre-optimized packaging proposals from LEO pallet and load building.
- Creation of SAP WM transfer orders based on LEO pallet and load building pack proposals
- Confirmation of multiple SAP WM transfer orders simultaneously
- Split order picking workload into feasible work packages based on warehouse relevant criteria and/or warehouse employees capacity constraints
- Use of MLS Picking Orders (MPOs) to break down complex warehouse processes (i.e. layer oriented picking, full pallet picking, etc.) into easy-to-handle system processes
- Goods receipt, replenishment, relocation and picking workload balancing are all a part of the processes controlled optimally.
- Optimized order picking with hand held terminals, pick-by-voice or simply on a piece of paper.
Results available in the SAP system are e.g.
- Convenient LEO-MLS work packages (new object) for optimized picking processing
- Flexible and configurable controlling of the picking process and other warehouse processes
- Monitoring of multi-delivery based picking
- Easy-to-use graphical user interfaces for hand held terminals and standard interfaces for pick-by-voice systems
