Description

We offer an integrated planning solution for the optimization of employee planning and dispatch for employees engaged in field or customer service. It can be used to centrally manage the entire planning process from order management to resources management, planning and ultimately communication with mobile end devices.

Based on the available capacities, all tasks can be planned and controlled taking geographic aspects into consideration in manual, semi-autonomic or automatic form. In turn, restrictions such as time window, employee qualification or regional competencies are considered.

Challenge The main challenge in field service is to maximize the uptime of capital intensive and often business critical installations. This requires high delivery performance in preventive maintenance, and high responsiveness in corrective maintenance. For effective services the service engineers must have the right skills and the right equipment and tools must be available. For efficient services the resource utilization must be optimized, e.g., by clustering corrective maintenance tasks into efficient routes.
